I know there is a Le Mans thread however I wanted some help from fellow Tiv owners as I would love to venture off to the Le Mans Classic this year.
I have spoken to the TVR Club and Fasttracks too. However me and my OCD and loving my creature comforts, I don't do camping, tried it once and went fking Mental!!!

What I am looking for is a scenic route down to Lemans from Calais, then ideally check into a top notch BB or Hotel with secure parking and then drive down to the circuit and park up at the TVR Club In Field Circuit and soak up a little racing, a few beers then return to a little peace when I have had enough, and good food etc, etc.

Has anyone else gone down this route in the past, and yes I am being a snob on this one, but I just don't do camping and portable loo's.

If any of you guys are doing something similar to the above please drop me a line. This will also be the 1st time I venture out of the UK with the Green Goblin, so any other advice such as insurance, breakdown what to take etc, etc is all welcome as I am a complete virgin to it all.

Looking forward to some help on the above!!!!

Cheers

Hi Chris, long time no see, hope you are keeping well my friend.

I have no words of advice for you unfortunately, just wanted to say hi. I agree with you on the camping front, I don't do camping either.... my idea of fking nightmare. I will take a nice warm cosy hotel room, warm shower and a full english breakfast any day.

I shall look forward to catching up with you soon sir.

Staying at a 5 Star Campsite, Glamping smile they have an orangerie where people can stay without the camping bit, which is lovely, or the main Chateau bedrooms. Loads of classic cars in an idyllic setting in a woodland landscape with gardens around and a lake where the rest of us camp smile 5 star is 5 star ;p oh a pool too tongue out happy to offer advice on the trip mate just pm me your number and we can have a chat. Been going to Le Mans for years and the Classic this year smile

You may struggle soon to book anywhere as the classic is pretty popular too. If you fancy joining our convoy of 15 sports cars down your more than welcome, we leave Thursday and come back Monday smile
