replacement jeep door mirrors

One of the door mirrors on our 2003 KJ cherokee has become massively wobbly, it seem like the union between the housing and the base is broken. Any idea where I can get a replacement part - I have heard they are at least £250 at a jeep dealer, but see ebay listings in the US for $40, but many don't ship to the UK.

Any tips appreciated

Not sure about KJ but Charlton Autoparts seem to be breaking lots of Jeeps, got various bits from them for my WJ. Also be careful US mirrors don't have the folding option. This is a Europe only thing apparently. Not sure if relevant to the KJ.

Just use one that does ship to the UK, most can be bought paying duty/vat at point of sale, saves parcel force pulling your pants down when it arrives, just sort by price + shipping & the ones who do ship will come up first. HTH

This might be the way I have to go, as still struggling with uk sources.

Just have a good look through their feedback, I've bought several things for my truck this way. You could also try RockAuto.

Yup as I posted above US ones don't fold, certainly for the WJ anyway. Not sure if the other models fold.
