its sounds a great weekend and venue, but not having attended one of these before can you tell me what you have planned for the Saturday? A pre plotted route of the local area maybe???

Hi Phil

Its all about enjoying driving your Aston, as you do, but with a whole bunch of people doing the exact same thing! Saturday will be spent touring the area. There will be a pre-planned route with stops for fuel/coffee/toilet/lunch and those stops will have full details on the plan so if you, for any reason, loose the group, just set your satnav for the next group stop. There will therefore be no pressure to drive fast. Some people, however, seem to quite enjoy playing 'chase the Aston'

Don't let that put you off

The hotel is a great venue with other things including a Spa to top up the spray tan and I'm sure enough other things to keep partners who want to spend the day doing something else occupied.

The Sat night is also the night England would play in the round of 16 if they come second in their group. So for hardcore football fans, each bedroom has a TV and room service, for none football fans it's in Wales so you'll not be alone

What is there for her not to love? A weekend at a spa hotel, arrive in style in an Aston Martin, enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh Welsh air AND get to meet all us lovely people

MTFU and SELL her the idea - if you are really clever she will think it was her idea in the first place

She'd probably love it. This really is a great weekend that I can't recommend highly enough. Great scenery, great roads, great cars and above all else some of the nicest people you could wish to meet. Seriously, don't miss it if your wife can be persuaded

Are you referring to the GT3 RS already booked in or are you asking on your own behalf? If referring to our mate Andy I explained myself on page 1 of this thread as follows:

It has to be said that the GT3RS does add some colour to any event (or some might even see it as target practise )
