A few photos from last night's event at Knockhill. Light was fading towards the end, so not too many photos.

A few more here which will be added to over the next few days: http://www.flatoutphotography.com/gallery3/2014/SI...

And also on FB if you want to comment, tag, like etc smile

Photos are looking great John, Especially like the black Exige S.

You must have plenty of reach in your setup, FF and 200mm doesn't seem enough round Knockhill.

Many thanks smile

Some of these have been cropped slightly, but most were taken around 300 - 400mm focal length. Up to 200mm is ideal for cars coming out of the hairpin though, and 300mm is just a bit too long for some angles at the chicane as you can't quite fit the whole car in frame.

I'll need to try the hairpin next time I'm out then, are you attending any hill climb events this year? I'll keep an eye on flatchat for more of your pictures (Flat chat username is sko77y also)

Sorry I never made it in the end, picked up the new car on the Thursday, broke it by Friday!

Who had the GT86, very keen to see how they get on at KH.

Beautiful shots! I knew yours would be better than mine hehe

Oh, did you get any of the black Exige V6 when we was carrying a passenger on the last few laps? smile

I'm going to try and make at least one of the Fintray events when it isn't clashing with other things, and probably Alford again. Must also get to Doune, as never made it down yet.

Fraser Shaw, who used to race XR2s for a few years. Looked well settled on track around the corners.

Thanks - I will have a look tonight when I get home, only had time to have a quick skim of them this morning. Was getting quite dark towards the end, and the camera focus was starting to hunt a bit so unlikely to have any sharp shots of the darker cars.
