Hi All,

I remember seeing a folding roof at the last Growl, not one cut in half - but one that collapsed down and stretched out using aluminium bars...

Any ideas where I can get one of these from and a rough idea on cost.

Thanks in advance..

If it helps it seems as if everyone who owns one doesn't regret it. I love mine!

Same here a great piece of kit at a very reasonable price. Just mind out if you are over 6ft as your head may touch the bars.

Martin,
Come and see me at the Growl. Will show you ours. Or you could go and see Roger who makes them and been at the Growl for the last 5 years (in a beige Chimp)!

I should also have my new split roof with me at the Growl, for those interested in seeing it...

Thanks again everyone.

I'm 6'2" - to be fair - I'm thinking more of a roof I can put on when I'm not driving - i.e. parking up for the night, can't remember the last time I had the roof on when in the car!

I have T350 seats, so can take the cushion out if the worst comes to the worst.

Am I right in thing about the £500-600 mark?

I am at the Growl Saturday and would like to sit in a car with one of these fitted, as I am 6ft3" and long term considering one of these.

I am 6"2" and have a folding roof and yes you touch the ali bars with you head but at the end of the day 90% of the time its in the boot so no problem with your head touching the ali bars wink and the ease of getting in the boot and it releases up so much boot space its a no brainer really, what I tend to do if you are like me and a bit of whimp and only take the roof off when its warm and I put the original one on if I go out in chilly weather or in my case take the Cerb or the T350, no seriously that's what I do put the hard top on in the winter and use the folding one in the summer if you was near me I would show you how easy it is to fold up and it is so simple to get in the boot you just put one end in and it just goes in without having to take the contents out of your boot and get the shoe horn out
