So the time is coming for the car to be replaced in a few months - my dilemma is:

1) No new C63 until later this year, do I wait?
2) The current model is such a great car, noise performance, looks , it has it all, but the depreciation and maintenance to keep it beyond 3 yrs will be painful. Don't think I'll get that past the Mrs
3) Grow up and get an ML63 AMG or Porsche Cayenne Diesel S

Looking forward to your opinions

similar dilema here...

Considering getting rid of the C63, and splitting it into two cars, something along the lines of a Merc B class/Audi A3 and an old Elise or boxster. Overall, I really have no idea though!

Having said all that, I might just get another C63, estate this time though!

I'm already down this road...I've bought a Caterham Supersport as my thrills car, but haven't yet got around to replacing the C63 laugh Will probably look to get a 64 plate new shape C-class diesel or something.

There's some great deals to be had on C63 507 Ed's as they're obviously no longer making them, but there's a fair amount of them within the dealer system that effectively need shifting before they start taking orders for next C63 later in the year

I am not sure this is strictly correct. I understand from my local dealer that the 507 sold out a while ago and this is evidenced by second hand prices which have firmed up. There are only 4 507s for sale in the UK and I reckon I would turn a profit if I put my one up for sale after 3 weeks of ownership.
Having said that all cars depreciate in value but I am hoping the 507 will not plummet quite so much.

I'm only going on what I was told by merc Swindon last week. Saying that, when I asked for stock details on available cars, they only came back with half a dozen or so cars and not perhaps the numbers they'd alluded to being available.
I'd just assumed these were the ones they could obtain details on
I maintain my position on the deals though as the discount offered was substantial
