Easter Weekend - Bikey Or Not?
Discussion
First rule of bike club to me is normally don't go out on a bank holiday.
This weekend however, I'll be trying to steer the R1 clear of the lunatics (both on 2 wheels and 4) Friday and Saturday down in the West Country seeing my Mum for her birthday and off to Brands for the BSB on Monday.
Whatever you're up to, stay safe!

Oh yes - as much as possible, if the weather is as predicted (meant to be lovely tomorrow and Saturday).
It's been a long winter and I've just put in new plugs, oil and a battery. Time for a good clean 1st thing tomorrow morning and then off and away, to just put some miles in
Enjoy it people - and stay safe

Likely I need to visit my family outside of London down in Hampshire - I'm not taking a car anywhere outside of London on Easter Weekend esp coming back into London potentially on Monday evening.
Given that tomorrow is my hopefully do bugger all day, sat I have a car test drive of something nice, that leaves Sunday or Monday. Given that Sunday weather is looking sh*te, I'll go Monday for the day.
I had hoped to test ride some Yamahas, might try to do that Saturday too.

Breaking a basic rule of thumb and going out on a bank holiday (in the face of a double demerits weekend - Western Australia double the points punishments on holiday weekends for traffic infringements) to take a rather nice girlie out for a brekky ride.
Nothing tears up a rule book like a pair of breasts.

Very bikey,
Taking the 1190 adv over to Mozambique.
Heading to Cahora Bassa, a huge lake for a few days Tiger fishing. Over 400kms each way and lots of dirt roads once over the Zambezi. Should be great fun.
What ever you do, keep safe.
Sounds epic!! Let me know if you ever need anyone to ride with around there Taking the 1190 adv over to Mozambique.

We're off at 5am tomorrow morning to get through the border asap and hopefully get some bank fishing in the afternoon, once the croc guard is erected!! Turns out Cahora Bassa is teeming with them and biggies too.
Report to follow.
