The official brands hatch bsb thread with spoilers !!
Discussion
Well it's nearly time for round 1 of the 2014 bsb series.
Weather looks pretty crap for qualifying on sunday (heavy rain) but monday looks better just cloudy all day.
Shakey must be odds on favourite for the title , but pretty sure brookes and bridewell but on the podium.
Hopkins 1st race back since his legendary final bsb race against tommy hill, i'm just not sure the suzuki is up to the job.

First day of brands done and dusted and it's no surprise to shakey and brookes top of the time sheets.
More of a shock though is that the stalker and kiyo are also in the top 5, watching kiyo has been pretty frustrating the last few seasons hopefully this year he'll give shakey a decent fight.

Anyone know the story behind Kiyos terrible season last year and his reason for being near the top of the timesheets again? Seems a different rider.....again!
Walker surprising me massively. Thought Ellison would have been the one on the pace but his team-mate is handing him it.
Not really. On one hand you suspect his head wasn't switched on but his Honda crew chief (of many years) did say he just couldn't get out of Kiyo what he wanted the bike to feel like. Surprising after so many years of working together, especially as the CBR hadn't changed so radically during that time. But then pro-racers can be sensitive to small changes.Walker surprising me massively. Thought Ellison would have been the one on the pace but his team-mate is handing him it.

Matt Roberts really is an appallingly bad anchorman, he has no enthusiasm at all. He even seems to be dragging sugar high Hayden down.
Hate to say it, but. BRING BACK THE GINGE.
I hate to say it as I liked matt Roberts on moto gp coverage but he spends mot of the time umming and ahhhing trying to remember riders names and which way to steer the discussion nextHate to say it, but. BRING BACK THE GINGE.
