I agree.

Could be interesting viewing.

'Accents' are annoying me and we are only 3 minutes in.

Some people's attitude towards parking is equally pisstaking.

They should all get tickets for parking their enforcement vans half on the pavements as well as being on yellow lines.

That's what I thought as well. You don't own the street outside your house, but plenty of people think they do.

I do find the idea of Lincoln employing CEOs amusing laugh

Would have loved to have seen the council committee minutes for when that was chosen.

"Councillors were asked to vote on their preferred option for officer title:

a) Civil Enforcement Officer
b) Parking Area Enforcement Directive Officer"

Why does just about everyone in the programme look like they dressed in the dark?

I have some sympathy with the people in their street - I thought their blocking of the road was quite petty but as the guy said, if you did a few times it would start to put people off - might not work long term though as a lot of effort.

One thing that did bug me - and it applies to all enforcement I spose is - discretion.

I hear time and time again that discretion should be used but deep down I dont like the fact that one guy got done after 10 minutes and one got left off after 30 mins overstaying. It can hardly be surprising when everyone argues the toss can it? For soemthing so simple it should be black and white.

IMO the default position should be a parking fine after the tiem is up but the discretion can coem in if they turn up with a food reason mid way htorugh the ticket being issues. giving some 10 mins and others 30 mins is silly.

I wonder if the station car park owners dropped their charges to say a couple of quid. Would that encourage more commuters to use it and therefor make them more money in the long run.
