Alcohol and pain killers.

Had a minor op yesterday and have been sent home today with Ibuprofen and paracetamol painkillers. I've looked on the boxes and it mentions nothing about alcohol. Can I drink a small bottle of magners with my dinner ?

you could be on pethadin(sp) and morphine, and yes, you could drink alcohol, but it would not do you any good.

painkillers and drink don't tend to mix, but a small bottle of weak cider with what you have said should not pose any problems as a one off.
