I'm trying to find an app which solves a weak signal issue I have indoors. The phone is a 4G S4. I would like an app which automatically switches to wifi for calls and data if my 4G signal goes below a certain level indoors. I've had a look at TuGo but as it overrides all the screen settings when active and the end call touch pad area is quite large and activates if you accidentally touch it with your cheek/finger during calls resulting in in call hang ups, it's not quite what I'm after.
Trying best wifi at the moment but can't see any noticeable difference when I change the app settings so not really sure its doing anything at all!
Any others worth a look?

would something like sure-signal be an option?

It would if it were o2, "To use Sure Signal, you'll need a 3G-capable phone that's on our network and a standard domestic broadband connection"
I've not been able to find an o2 equivalent.

You could try llama, but that would use your location rather than signal strength.

But you can have it switch off your data and turn on your WiFi when you get home/work/etc...

Tasked does similar, and maybe more...

Thanks, I'll have a look at both. Do you know if either will switch to calls and data via BB wifi automatically as a preference to signal if wifi connection is available?

Femtocells are available on 02, but might be business only

It 'could', with WiFi polling, but may hammer your battery.

Didn't think repeaters were legal unless you had a licence to "transmit". Additionally, according to the O2 coverage website I should have excellent signal indoors and outdoors on 4G. It would irk me somewhat if I had to pay for a solution. I am willing to put some effort in to resolve what I see as a problem of theirs which would benefit me when resolved, but I don't see that I should have to pay for the resolution. I have an open case running with O2 at present but hold out little hope of resolution through that, hence the free/low cost app query.
