Hi Can anyone tell me which route the brake motion cable takes and where it connects to? This is the revised brake light switch seems to be enough cable to almost reach the rear with black and red spade end male connectors. Wondered if it routed with main loom passenger side?

Thanks

In a normal build, the brake pressure switch is on the rear T section. However this specific position on the rear brake circuit makes for a slowish reaction to the brake lights turning on (less pressure in the rear) so it seems.
One way to solve this problem is to install the brake pressure switch which you seem to have ordered (me too but not used).
The second way is to install the brake pressure switch in the front brake circuit. You just have to splice the necessary wires to the loom.

Hi Thanks yes I ordered the updated version and now I think I just connect these to the two female connectors that would normally go on the pressure switch as shown in the pic?

The wire for the brake pedal brake light switch is routed down the UK passenger side of the car to the point on the rear upright where the rear brake pipes split to serve each side. The brake light wire exits the loom at that point.

These long holiday weekends are when this forum comes into it's own. The Factory can help any other time but even they need some time off.
