I am after a speaker thats load enough so you can here it in a awning and anywhere within a 6 mile radius. Ok that last bit not quite true but the team next to us have quite a load sound system but play some ste music think Scooter, DJ sammy… Would love to drown them out with some AC.DC when they take the piss with the noise level.

All my music is on my iPod and don't really want to spend anything over £150.

Any idea?

Not sure if the £150 budget includes amplification or not ?
If it doesn't then something like this should work http://www.amazon.co.uk/Behringer-B210D-Eurolive-S...
If you have an amp then these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lime-Audio-LA-212-Dual-1... claim to be 96db/1w/1m so should kick Angus and co loud enough to compete with your neighbours.

To be fair to the OP - English may be his second; third or fourth language.
A little harsh no?

What you want is bass really. Lots and lots of bass, and lots of air moved. Use a sub, the largest active one you can afford, and make sure it contacts firmly to a plasterboard wall. The amount of air shifted by a poorly battened plasterboard wall is really quite impressive.

If everyone on here that claims that they are dyslexic because of poor spelling were ACTUALLY dyslexic we'd be well against the grain of 10% affected and 4% severely in the UK.

What's wrong with just saying I'm a carp speller?!

Agreed, and being dyslexic doesn't stop you using a spell/grammar checker. My spelling is crap, but I'm not dyslexic....I'm just crap at spelling smile

I'm also too lazy to do anything about it smile

The world's far from a perfect place....... having to endure Scooter and DJ Sammy is evidence of that.
Now that PH has had a self righteous go at your spelling and grammer, shall we get back to your thread about LOUD loudspeakers ?

Do you have an amp or are you wanting some active speakers with an ipod input ?

This is the type of route you will have to look at if you want ultimate volume so to speak as opposed to hifi speakers, but where are they going to go? if its in a standard flat/house you could find yourself in some trouble

OP said something about an awning and the "team next to us" so I assumed it is not for house/flat type domestic duties.
