My r300 is on 13 inch wheels 8 inch rears and 6 inch fronts. My question is what difference would 15 inch wheels do to the running of the car?

Most people tend to go the other way....

Ride should be better on 13's compared to 15's. Why are you considering changing?

I wouldn´t if I were you. 13´s are a much nicer ride, and the handling is more progressive.
A Seven is a very light car, no need for low profile tyres. Have you ever seen a F1 car with low profile tyres?

The 13 inch is smaller and lighter so there's less unsprung weight and road holding is better. Also bigger tyre profile of 13 inch will make it more predictable. That said, the stiffer low profile of the tyre on 15 inch wheels give a nice feel and can work well if you kept them within the limits of grip.

I have only ever driven on 15" wheels but really want to try 13". Standard road sport with 160bhp.

Love the car and the way it feels but get it down a B road with a few bumps and as Evo describe the r500 " you could well be visible on RAF radar" Not been on a track yet to test its/my limits but have scared my self once to often by a random bump unsettling the car when I have been pressing on down country roads.

I think every Seven without IRS will do that - pert of the charm , even if it is a tad embarassing not to be able to keep up with some smooth riding Focus TDCI some times ...
