Does anyone have a very rough idea what we'll be entitled to?

We were both students until June 2013 last year.

Both found a job in October 2013. She earned £13,000 p/a until last week and now has a job paying £17,000 p/.

Mine paid £14,750 but they got rid of me beginning of March. I've not worked since.

What are they going to base what we're entitled to on?

Someone suggest I try mine as I should be able to claim quite a bit back - came out as 83p a month.

It'll likely bé the square root of sweet fk all, as they base it on last year.
But don't worry, in 12 months time when you hopefully wont need it anymore, they'll give you the money you needed now.

Edit: sorry, having reread your dates, it might bé worth a go.

Just be very sure. I remember claiming one year and the award must have been wrong. I rang them to try and sort it, and was told that they are always right.

A year later they decided that I had been over-payed... Never claimed it (nor can I imagine that I would be eligible) since.
