I'm filling in the security holes in my garage. Garage is detached, 30m+ or so away. It has power.

What I am after is a conventional wired system to which I can add a PIR and some door sensors, switches and a couple of shock sensors. I'm not after wireless. Wires = simple = reliable.

I also want to add some interior soundbombs - four or so.

However because its my garage I also need to be able to activate and deactivate the alarm by a fob or RFID tag. Having an entry delay to get to a keypad is 100% not an option. If they get into the garage without setting the alarm off then I'm fscked.

Also I need the alarm to SMS me if something happens. There is no landline to the garage, so something with a SIM is going to be needed.

Basically I need some kind of modular system, I suspect, where I can add on the remote and text facilities.

Any experts on here got any suggestions.

(Ps. The miguard system isn't really what I'm looking for).
