2.5 WRX. What RPM to change at for max acceleration?

It's all in the title really.

Changing at 5800-6000 rpm seems to yield the fastest progress through all gears, just wondering what your opinions are?

The 2.5 is out of puff at 6K. The 2.0 keeps going.

Yeah i know the 2.5 is more about the hit of torque lower down than the high end pull.

Hitting the red line gives no benefit so just wondering other people's thoughts
