For me, included in the above heading would be

A pinball machine

A Hornby train set

A leather jacket

A Precision Bass in sonic blue

Might still do something about the last one, been thinking about it for a few years. Excuses for the first two would be space, and for the jacket it would be finding something I really liked, and then occasions to wear it, plus thinking maybe that sort of thing has had its day.

List yours, and give excuses reasons.

A big scalextric set up

A top quality fussball table

Huge plasma for my home gym

Another decent quality DAB radio

A navy chalk strip suit

A landscaped garden

A hot tub

A decent road bike

Cosmetic surgery

Blimey the list goes on, although I think the reality for me, as it may be for others, is that really I can't afford them.

They look good, but for the money there are sooo many better cars. Plus, at the end of the day it's just a Clio.

It would be nice to see some reasons being given, there's got to be some if people want stuff and can afford it, but yet don't buy it, surely?

Here's another one from me-

Euro Truck simulator with a steering wheel and maybe even pedals etc. Reasons, either I wouldn't play it after the first couple of goes, or else I would be on it all the time, and it's the latter that scares me, a bit.

Porsche 911 - always loved them but couldn't live with the chocolate engines.

A Storck Aernario Signature road bike. Lovely bike but I'd rather spend that amount of money on travel.

A ten pin bowling alley in the flat.

I measured and the flat just isn't big enough.

I would have to sell the Elise to afford it. Additional monthly cost for storage. Would I really get that much use out of it? Too big for a normal parking bay so parking at a supermarket to top up supplies would be a problem. A lot of money to be tied up in one thing, but they hold their value well.

Perhaps a small lottery win then I can take the Elise on a trailer behind. Bit like this

A juke box. Love the idea but know I would never use it. We bought many moons ago one of those clever units that plays music and can send it to little satellite units, thought we'd use it for parties etc.. They never get used so something like £800 p***ed away...

A PS4 Racing seat/steering wheel - kind of fancy it but I don't enjoy playing driving games. Of course, if enough people say they are excellent....

Don't know how much they are but an F1 simulator..... So don't know if I could afford it. But if I could I wouldn't use it I don't think.

Of course if I won the Euromillions I'd buy hundreds of things like the above....

Have you considered a U-shape lane? The added advantage is you won't need to install a ball-return-channel in the flat downstairs.
