3.6 with cr box anyone.
Discussion
I have run a 3.6 with CR box - but with a standard ratio diff. I have bought a 3.73 hydratrack diff and intend to have the CR gears to go with it.
The last time I drove my Tam with the CR box was seven years' ago, so memory is a little hazy - but I can tell you that I preferred it over the standard and never once felt the 3.6 'struggle' with the longer gears (I know some will tell you that it does)
When I have mine done, I will be in a better position to comment further....

hi chris
you were the only person i found on other posts to ask this question of and i did mail you but to no avail.
thanks for the feedback, as i understand it the 3.6 is more leggy anyway, less torquey but more leggy. it makes more sense to me but hence the post... i am a mechanical dufus and as such what makes sense to me isnt necessarily actual sense.

Oh, I don't seem to have got that mail, otherwise I would have responded you were the only person i found on other posts to ask this question of and i did mail you but to no avail.

Yes - I do like the more revvy nature of the engine and have never minded or had a problem with revving to the limit to get the most out of the engine. If I had any negative thoughts towards the CR box, I most certainly would have remembered, but the fact that I now want another on my second Tamora proves that it worked, at least for me.
