Akropovic Baffles (K7 GSX-R)
Discussion
Does anyone have any tips for removing the baffle from a stubby Akrapovic slip on for a K7 GSX-R 750?
I've watched the 'How To...' video on YouTube and read that some are easy to get out but some take more force. Well, mine is well and truly wedged in. Anyone else had the same problem and come up with imaginative ways to encourage the baffle to come out?

Yeah I've been using pliers but it's so stuck they don't grip.
The stubby can doesn't come off the pipe, which has a slight kink in it. Have managed to get something in to try to whack it out but, due to the kink, can't get an accurate hit on the baffle so that doesn't seem to be working.

Hi I've got these (on a k8 ) I remove the can from the Y pipe. Then use a piece of wood just an offcut I have laying around something like a short piece of broomstick is what you need. Then you put stick in can and hold it in place and hit stick onto the ground and it pushes the baffle out.
edit sorry just read you've got 750 I'm talking about gsxr1000. Don't know your one (single pipe?) but same principle as my description I would imagine.

Can you not fit a couple of pairs of needle nose pliars to it? When I took the baffle out of my Scorpion for my GSX-R600, I undid the bolt with an allan key, got a pair of needle nose pliars on the baffle and gave it a bloody good tug (oo-er) and it came out. If you can get someone to steady your bike with the can in situ, get a pair of needle noses on the lip of the baffle, clasp the pliars shut with both hands and lean back with your body weight I bet the baffle would give.
I had the same problem with mine different exhaust though. Not sure how yours holds in but maybe this will help.
I ended up spraying loads of WD40 around it for a few times a day for a few days. Remove the bolt then with a flat blade screwdriver see if you can tap the baffle around a bit, once you have done that use the screwdriver as a leaver against the can I put a bit of wood between the can and screwdriver so I didn't mark it. Obv don't shove the screwdriver into the threads or you will make a mess of them.
Mine wouldn't budge with pliers even real big ones but came out really easy doing it like that.
