Good hotels near le palais des congres de paris

Hi All,

I will be traveling to a conference in Paris in June for four days. My work will pay for everything, but costs for the hotel need to be sensible (around £120 a night or lower).

The conference venue is Le Palais des congres de Paris, and I want a good, clean hotel that is situated within walking distance of the conference center.

Any recommendations?

Hi, it may be difficult to find a hotel coming within that rate around that part of town. However, the Splendid Etoile is in reasonable walking distance and well recommended.

Alternatively, heading the other direction from Porte Maillot, there's the usual corporate chains at Pont de Neuilly - also within a reasonable walk. I used to work in that area so let me know if you need any other info. Jeff.

Hotel Meridien Etoile is just across the street and is very agreeable - but not 120 quid a night. I often stay there when I work in Paris, but my client is paying - not me. It's a nice place though.
