Managed 7 laps at Cadwell Park before Samy died on track. Think it's the fuel pump. Fuse fine. Relay clicking on and off. No whirring though.

Been transported to a local garage in Louth.

Hopefully a quick(ish) fix so may get some laps later. Although getting home is the priority.

TVR, it's a life choice.

:-D

I had same problem once on a Belgian motorway on way back from Nurburgring...

After 6 hours, which included waiting for Euro Recovery and being taken to various garages to try and find someone to look at it, problem was diagnosed as the connector to the fuel pump (which is pretty exposed) that had become full of muck from the road after "x" years. Might be worth checking that first cos a lot cheaper than a new pump wink

They're checking the electrics first. Seems fine in the cabin but I couldn't check the pump end. I asked them to order the pump as a preemptive measure.

Might get back on track yet!

I just hope it's one thing and not loads.

Sorted 'einen pumpen haussen cest kapute'.

Fixed and got back to Cadwell for the final hour. There were even some pics from the short run this morning. Will post later.

Samy running a lot better with a new pump.

Right now off to collect the new seats.

Great news Stewart, glad you got some more track time in with your S.
How does she compare with the Bora? Looking forward to the pics.

Also can I just say, your commendable language skills will come in very handy on the Eurotour, especially in Frarmany. biggrin

As cosmopolitan as I am, that's a good spot Damien.

Something else we have common is MX-5 mk3 seats wink

Got a good final hour and some photos to post. I'll start another thread for that.
