Track Rod ends ?

Are they all Cortina or did they change with the TVR / SUPRA Rack introduction ?

Cortina 2.3 fits the rack fitted to my 390 part no QR 1384s I paid £9.60 for both Q/Hazel

Yeah the ends didn't change over time (as far as I have seen) and they are bog standard ford. I've replaced a few over the years and no need to redo the tracking if you mark the nut positions.

And if you get TRE's from a different supply who's castings are slightly longer/shorter

Shouldn't happen like that - they would be made to specced dimensions wouldn't they (and I think the nut end is ground flat anyway).

Never been a problem for me - but you could measure them I suppose...

Easy way to save costs when making a "pattern part" is cut back on materials,little bit shorter, little bit less thread but still enough to be safe

I hope by the time the rack has been refurbed I won't be able to see any marks on it, being able to see the rack at all under all the oil and muck would be nice !
