King Cruize - Americana galore
Discussion
Let's do the red cars first:
351 Ford Evil.
Can't help thinking about Mad Max.
Mach 1 shows how early 70s muscle was done.
It's amazing that the fantastic looking early C3 transformed into . . . this penis on wheels, 10 years later.
1976 C3 Stingray, and yup: with the 200 brake 350 CID. The 454 sledgehammer with a giant Holley Double Pumper is what you want: no revs and Hand Of God torque.
Pretty in Pink:
1959 Caddy battlecruiser.
The Deerhunter comes to mind.

Awesome first gen 1968 Plymouth Road Runner:
383 was the entry level car!
Famous badge.
Back-to-basics muscle car but with a serious V8 bite.
Wikipedia: "Paying $50,000 to Warner Brothers to use the name and likeness of their Road Runner cartoon character (as well as a "beep, beep" horn, which Plymouth paid $10,000 to develop). . ."
Serious Yank metal and one of my favorite Muscle Cars.
Another 383, a 1969 Coupe. The 440 inside was too dark to snap.
Only a few bikes could stand the rains . . .
Serious badge on a serious car: C2 Corvette.
427 C3 Convertible.

Tidy early C3 Blues.
Roughly from the same time: for me the Pontiac Firebird defined the End of the Muscle Car Era.
1970 Chevy Camaro.
The Rally Sport option boasts a distinctive nose and bumper and came with the Z-28 Special Performance Package featuring a high-performance LT-1 360 hp / 520 Nm 350 CID V8. Good choice sir!
Macro lens antics.
Huge badness factor.
More badness.
Great stuff and more to come.
But not with those wheels?
Utter coolness ...
Check the Lucas movie: American Grafitti, if you fancy late 50s styling.
Over the top they very are, but what a looker.
On a more moderate note.
1953 Pontiac Catalina - more info here: http://www.pistonheads.com/Gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
More: last bits.

Plymouth RoadRunner 440 R/T big boy.
I am a totall arse on these Yanks but I do like a funky paint scheme.
Harley details.
Nice.
This could be a Harley fuel tank.
In the meantime the ink artists did a great job.
Surrounded by resting V8 iron:
Yup, 396 C2 gun.
Last one. Hope you enjoyed it!
