V8 Mustang/Camaro/Challenger rental from Denver Intl Airport
Discussion
Anyone had any success with renting one of these from Denver International Airport.
Just gave Hertz a call, expecting they would be able to make something available from the Adrenaline collection, but they were not that helpful. They could only offer a Mustang Convertible which I assumed was a V8, as the rental was over $2000/week without unlimited mileage.
I'm thinking of just going for a Mustang Convertible (or similar), which I know is a V6, but you never know there may be something more interesting to upgrade to. I would however prefer a coupe, and definitely a V8!
Anyone have any tips, as Alamo appear to rent a Challenger or similar, but it does not state V8, and seems to be close to $2000.
Cheers

Thanks. I looked into this, but i'm not really visiting anywhere bigger than Denver. Mainly visiting National parks - the only large city will be Salt Lake City (shame it's not Bonneville Speed Week).
I've come round to the idea of a V6 Stang convertible actually. Not had much experience of convertibles, so this will be good, particularly for the National Parks.
Anyone had any experience of one of these consolidator companies for car rental? I was thinking of using: www.uscarhire.com . Their price and level of insurance seems better than going direct.

v6 sounds fairly nippy anyway by what people say
with the other companys make sure you know whos the provider before paying , and watch out for "or similar" cars so your mustang may be subsistuted with a sebring when you arrive
hertz is about the best of them , still not perfect buy maybe worth a small premium , plus you can use discount codes and quidco to get the prices down

Looks like the big players don't have anything. Might be worth asking local places? Even if they don't have one they might have an idea who does...

I think the problem in this instance (correct me if I'm wrong!) isn't the price more the fact that the Hertz's in the area don't have any of the adrenaline collection.
yeah sorry they wont have extra cars , but a killer deal on a v6 might make him a bit happier...swedish site knocked a good few hundred off my bookingGassing Station | Holidays & Travel | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
