Anyone running a pair of child seats, can you still get an adult in the middle?

"sort of" would be the answer, there is room but it's tight. Short journeys should be ok-ish.

What kind of baby seat do you have in the RRC - any suggestion for the 1yr plus? My worry is when the baby outgrows his current seat (MaxiCosi Pebble).

Atthe moment i have the small MaxiCosi Pebble seat with the EasyBase2. Without the base it was hard fitting the Pebble in and out, as the rear seat belts are quite "short".

None yet. I have half a dozen Recaro Young Sports as they don't need Isofix and are just about the smallest seats you can buy but will fit a child from 9 months to 12 years.

I'm assuming that I'll put a pair in the Rangie but this car needs to be a 5 seater and as it's currently in storage I can't check if a pair of seats will still leave room in the middle for the third adult.

If not then they'll have to go in the boot. biggrin

Well you can buy the 7 seater rear boot seat. They come up on ebay from time to time.

Yes, there was one a few weeks ago and the company still makes them.

They don't look too comfortable or particularly safe. I've been mulling over isofix points off the roll cage so that a big comfy child seat could be slotted in when needed.

Ideally I will be able to squeeze someone in the middle and not clutter the boot.
