Hello all, not posted on here for a while.

To busy driving the car to talk about it.

Not sure if this has been covered or not.
Sorry if it has.


Just found out that Westover Poole are no longer working on TVRs as they don't have a mechanic that's got any experience working with them. (at least they're honest enough to admit the fact, rather than letting me find out the hard way)

I'm just about to use Gable Garage Lytchett, their last remaining mechanic is now there, and wondered if anyone else has other options in Dorset that they can recommend.
Always nice to have a fallback.

A real shame about Westover; although they were a bit top end polished marble and dead posh, they were well priced and damn good at sorting things.

I've used Dorset Sports Cars at Three Legged Cross (nr Ringwood) and they were great. I don't live there any more, but still recommend them for that area.

As Chris said, I believe they are some of the ex TVR Westover guys - I've never used them but some of the Dorset TVRCC guys do.

There's also Red Mist Sports Cars in Blandford Forum owned/run by Nigel. I've used him for some suspension stuff and he was excellent, transformed my car.

If it's an RV8 engine, I take the trip over to Southways in Fareham. A bit of a drive, but their workshop is full of them and they know them inside out. They've done wonders on my Chim, it's a totally different car to drive after they had a play around with it!
