I have been offered a mananagement position in the catering sector. This could be on a self employed basis and therefore I will need indemnity insurance. Can anyone tell me how to go about setting this up.
Thanks

Find out what the hiring company are demanding as the basic cover, then type into goggle indemnity insurance for contractors and ring several up for quotes.

How do they equate being a manager for a business with you being self employed?

In what way do they think you will be self employed?

Tricky situation. I have been made redundant today and have been asked to sort out another contract on Monday. This would put my tax free pay at risk.
