Hi
I have been asked to look into getting a SFTP system sorted for document downloads. Needs to be SFTP not FTPS and its only for smallish documents (a couple of MB at most)

Its not something I have much expertise in, and thought I would ask here to see if anyone has any good recommendations for the server software, or any horror stories of what software to avoid.

Looking for lowish cost, so upto £100 a server license cost.

Will be spending the night Googling, but some information from people on here who running a good system would always be welcome.

Cheers

Andy :-)

Have a look at EdtFTPPro. Might be a bit overkill for what you want (its quite extensible) but does do SFTP.
No idea on cost, I don't do that bit smile

Sadly its a bit pricey for what we need, it starts at $499 !!

Anyone else know a reliable SFTP ?

Thanks

Andy

What's the use case?

I ask because Joe Bloggs won't have a clue how to use it.

Pretty sure you can install openssh server on windows which will do sftp.
