That is brilliant.http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/watch-incredib...
To have had Stevie and Jamie in the same generation of players has been a treat.

We still have a few to sell. That 89 million will end up closer to 120 after we've got rid of Assaidi, Lucas, Agger, Coates, Reina and the money comes through for Aspas.
So far we've spent
4 million on Lambert
25 million on Lallana
10 million on Cann
20 million on Laser.
We probably have another 60 million to spend before we've even dipped into the transfer kitty that had at least 20 million left in it after our failure in January.
So far we know we're interested in
Lovren for 20 million
Moreno for 20 million
Vorm for 5 million
Remy for 8 million
Bony for 19 million
We could buy all of these and still have money left for a proven world class player at 30 to 40 million and only end up with a new spend of around 25 million this window.
Fingers crossed we spend it wisely. But if we do, what a team we'll have. If we were to buy all the players listed above or their equivalants, for me the most important position left would be a genuine box to box midfielder that can grow into the Gerrard role.

I can see Reina going on a free as his wages are too high.
According to the papers, Remy has been told to lower his wage demands from 80/90 a week
Really don't understand the Reina situation. Perfectly good goalkeeper, would be great to have him and Mignolet. He's got the distribution that Brendan likes, the shot-stopping, just not always so great at set pieces.According to the papers, Remy has been told to lower his wage demands from 80/90 a week

Cann, Remy and Lambert for £22m and getting £21m for Borini and Assidi would be unbelievable
Absolutely. It is just a shame Liverpool weren't able to snap up Sanchez; I know it is history now but he would have been perfect. No one else like him in terms of his style apart from maybe James Rodriguez who is 65m+. Remy might be good from a financial point of view but he is out and out striker. Might work out but may not be suited to the Liverpool style of play.

Seems a little sensationalist given that Barca have already spent twice your outlay. It's going to be a very busy few weeks if you are going to repeat your current transfer deals and then some! Maybe there is a whopper £50m+ deal in the pipeline?Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
