Yup I thought that, but I suspect due to injury he might well be a Jan target. Don't think he will be fit until November time?

Good signing for the future, but really does not help us in a season where finishing top four again with the added factor of European football & teams around us strenghening considerably will be a huge ask IMHO.... Could be a frustrating season if we don't pick up a few more key players.

Unless the docs found something had seriously worsened or was a big risk. Maybe US standards with these things is different and Fenway ignored previous records?

So you dont think we should have singed him? LFC is here for a lot longer than next year... rumours are we agreed the fee before the world cup and after good performances they wanted a lot more... luckily agreements were made he could stay at Lille for 1 more year to allow the deal to go through....Belgium press rate him more than Lukaku so I think its a great bit of business... no matter if he is here now or next year.
