Looks like Jordan Ibe is off to Bolton on loan. Good move for the lad to get some game time and develop, there's too many in front of him this season.

I always like to muse on the fact that 'Sir' Bob Paisley has won as many European Cups as Manchester United.

Sounds like he is a very positive thinking lad, believes in himself without being arrogant and is raring to go. I like the way he talks - if he stays injury-free, he could be our best summer signing.

Sounds legit.

Milan, there is the offer of Liverpool for Balotelli

Rodgers has put on the plate a total of 22 million euro

August 20, 2014

Fortissimo return of Liverpool on Mario Balotelli . The deal is getting really hot and striker Milan is facing intense days. Brendan Rodgers estimate very Supermario and do not want to have it escape. 's why he put into the pot as many as 22 million euro , of course, not as cash calls for the Rossoneri ( however, that it wants 25). Yesterday, meanwhile, has "landed" at Milanello Mino Raiola : a signal mica recently.

It is in this sense must be seen the arrival of the powerful agent of Balo. Hardly seems a coincidence that it was likely to Milanello for a face-to-face with both his client with both the club of Berlusconi. Liverpool has no intention of shelling out the entire amount immediately. You will go step by step: loan sale with right of redemption. The parties do not seem to be so far away and the feeling is that the deal can be concluded.

The money will come from Balotelli will be invested immediately to Alessio Cerci , the exterior and Pippo Inzaghi has asked Adriano Galliani. For the player of Turin has reopened everything and Atletico Madrid seems outdated.

I would be happy with Balotelli, especially for £17m
despite being a bit bonkers, he is a good striker.

ps. can someone please explain this ice bucket lark??
saw Ruth Langford (eammon holmes wife) get it poured over her and she was a wearing a white top.. much more entertaining than footballers - she did cover up pretty quick

From what I gather you either make a big donation or do the challenge and pour a bucket of ice over yourself and donate a smaller amount.
Seems alot of celebritys are just getting a bucket of ice and water over their heads as a way of promoting the charity and answering the challenges from people who have nominated them.

Charlie Sheen done the challenge but instead of pouring the ice and water over his head poured $10,000 in cash over himself and donated that much then nominated 3 others to do the same.

It's for this charity http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/i...

Balotelli for 17 million is better than a deadline day chase for Boni.

I'd prefer Bony than Balo though. AC want €25m so isn't that £20m?
Could get Bony for £20m. Balotelli won't be on less than £100k p/w which Bony wanted.

I would agree. BR did say he wouldn't be signing him. Then again, he said Carroll wasn't going anywhere...

Why would they sell him for less than they bought him?

He's hardly been a flop, and there's a lot more money in the game. You'd think he'd only be worth more.

It's agent talk. I'd chew my own bk off if we sign SuperMario. Whatever his goalscoring record is, he doesn't fit the mentality profile for BR or FSG to fit into the side. He's not hungry and is far too lazy on the pitch. Non story.

Question. Is:

Balotelli > Borini + £3m ?

I would have to say so. Still would prefer Bony though.
