Still one of my favourite players, but I guess that'll change if he scores against us
Brillant player when he's in the mood, total passenger when he's not.
Despite falling out with a lot of managers he was pretty popular in our dressing room with the rest of the team.
I'm sure (unfortunately) he'll be an asset to you this season.

If BR can make Balotelli hungry and not angry on the pitch, if Peters can get him to find his inner peace, if he is prepared to work for the team, he could be the transfer coup of the summer and the difference between us finishing outside the top 4 to challenging for the title again.

@Jay_78_: So no chance of Balotelli being registered for the Man City game. Medical may not even happen until Monday going by reports tonight. #LFC
Thought so. Bit of a long shot him being fully signed before midday tomorrow.
Never thought he'd make the Citeh game. Be happy to have him ready for the spuds game.Thought so. Bit of a long shot him being fully signed before midday tomorrow.

Not having a dig, but it's certainly cheap compared to what you paid for Lukaku.
Certainly is cheap, not really a gamble at that price considering the money in football nowadays. With that said you get what you pay for (sometimes) and Lukaku is twice the player Mario is IMHO. No contest who you'd rather have in a team on current form. Glenred said:

Some people did tho I guess out of hope and seeing him against City.Lukaku isn't twice the player of Balotelli. Definitely better than him though.
Steve Peters definitely has his work cut out. Will be similar to Good Will Hunting.
Well well well. Super Mario for a knock down £16m eh?
I prefer Mario to Bony and Eto'o, he suits our style of play more and will be good cover for Sturridge.
I predict Mario will do ok, score a few but not be prolific. He'll score the winner against one of our bitter rivals and will be forever loved by our fans.
He'll find his chances limited by Origi and Sturridge and will leave after his second season for a small loss representing decent but not great business for LFC.

Doesn't look likely at this point in time he will feature on Monday, as neogitations are still "ongoing". I wonder if salary will become a sticking point?
If the newspaper stories yesterday about how much he would "demand" are any way true - and we have our incentivised pay structure in place to stick to, as has been reported on here before - then it may well do.But frankly I'd rather have no player at all than one who only wants to come to Liverpool if he gets his dosh up front.
