Sag now reduced - why so cheap?

I paid for my last big service appr. 700.-GBP, incl. shim check and fluids...
This seems to be the going rate for a 12k service including tappets - same for a £16k Tamoras and a £50k+ Sagaris
It can get over 1k very easy
From memory St8six 12k service was around 800GBP without additional work, mounts, gaiters etc

And also an engine rebuild could also be required on a 55k Sag as it could be on a 42k Sag, as could a clutch.
Personally I think it was reasonably priced and as such sold accordingly. Is it also possible the new owner negotiated into the sale a full service and/or money off to account for a new clutch (if even required)?
As for the Gaz Golds, does that really mean the previous owner skimped on servicing? Or does it mean that they were an average driver that in 90% of real world driving conditions wouldn't really notice the difference between them and Nitrons (forgetting the quality issues Gaz have had for the moment). Say the owner had put Racing reds on (similar price to GGs), would you say that an owner had skimped and therefore had run the car on a budget then? I ran R/Reds on my T350 and now have Nitrons and there is barely any difference to me - on track maybe it'd be different.

Thats all a big if though and could just as easily be required on a 55k Sag as it could on a 42k Sag.

No because cars at 55k+ should need nothing doing and have full spec IMHOAnd also an engine rebuild could also be required on a 55k Sag as it could be on a 42k Sag, as could a clutch.

The mileage on this car wouldn't concern me as long as it wasn't burning loads of oil, but with that mileage I would factor in another new clutch if I was looking to sell,
The fact it also needs a big service plus what else might pitch up when servicing, dampers IMHO , no air con and what is considered high mileage is why it's a 43k Sag, also not sure what warranty comes with this dealer but it wouldn't be a Str8six warranty they underwrite themselves,

If you were trying to correct your earlier post, you've failed I'm afraid. It's identical. I am going to wait may buy if the right one comes up at the right price some have been up for sale for over a year!!!

Much in the same way a Cobra 'isn't a £500K car' then. Thething to remember is that the £50K used buys that seem to offer 'more' of everything (performance, build quality, image) will be £30K cars before long, and more often than not drop into four figures within the next decade... In the long run, 'more' is often 'less' and the market knows it.
I personally think they have reached there peak, some have been up for sale for over a year. Don't think they will go down that much, as other TVR models are going up a lot and are playing catch up! 5 years ago I purchased my 2005 T350T for £19000, I just wished I had brought a sag back then for about 30k, although can't complain, how many other cars out there go up in value? :-)
The T350's are still appreciating a fair bit too, I sold mine a couple of years ago for around the £20k mark and it's currently in the classifieds for £28k with no additional mods and a further 7000 miles.
I never understood the big price gap between them and Sags and I still don't.

I think perhaps it could be because the Sags are even rarer, and is seen to be the last true TVR built. Perhaps.I never understood the big price gap between them and Sags and I still don't.

Yes I understand that, I guess it comes down to logic, I couldn't see the point in paying twice the price for a very similar car. Sag styling is also a bit marmite, I obviously preferred the T350 styling. 99% of people don't buy them to be an appreciating asset although it is a nice bonus.
