Although the weekend looks cooler (low-mid 20s instead of high 20s in the South!) with a risk of showers, it's still pretty good weather.

Next week looks to be heating up again - charts indicating back to high 20s, possible 30s. South of the M62 continues to look like summer smile

Any chance of the weekly good weather continuing into any of the following weekends? At any point?!

While I'm enjoying the good weather being off during the week the missus is stuck in work and getting understandably testy when Friday comes and it's bloody rains/storming again!

First signs of a cool down are appearing - towards the end of next week. Of course this is within a timeframe that is not accurate, but the signs are getting stronger

Just noticed this on my weather apps.

Looking overcast and a bit cooler next week on one, and warm and sunny in the other.

I can't keep up with it!

Hottest day yet so far in south wales 31c in my home town lucky enough booked of today and tomorrow ahead of the weekend made the right choice I think.
Went out in the mx5 only downside is the interior is black and fking boiling apart from that its great wouldn't want to be in work right now.

Are there signs the continent (France specifically) is likely to cool too?

Looks like there's something brewing over the Reading area... It's gone very dark and the wind has picked up.
