Halfords again.
3 for 2 on parts at the mo, good for stocking up.
Also, their mix n match any 5 inner tubes for £9.99 is a permanent good deal.
A lot of their web prices are cheaper than instore, I always reserve and collect but if caught short they will match their own web prices (as well as any other competitor) in store if you ask.
I thought I should warn that Halfords seem to have picked up on the web matching in store thing and will not be offering BC discount on web-only prices (unless you get lucky).3 for 2 on parts at the mo, good for stocking up.

I happened to be passing one at the weekend and popped in to pick up a few bits I needed on the 3 for 2 (which ends today), the guy put in a lot of effort to make sure I got the 3 items I needed in my size on the deal, at internet prices, with the BC discount (‘just this time because of the messing about’). Which included me having to pop into another store on my way home to pick up the correct size shoes which I had already paid for.

With all the poor reports on the Boardman that I've read recently along with the other problems of getting the BC discount to add to the 15% discount advertised (is that web only) along with the concerns about the voucher system I'm seriously doubting the seriousness of going to Halfrauds at all.
I asked on the CX thread about the Forme bikes that Paul Milne sells, any thoughts on here?

I was told the 15% off Boardman is online only and not in addition to the BC 10%. Once I ordered and got the 15% I called the store and they said it was fine to have the 10% on top in the end. I think its the stores discretion as initially the young lad said no and when I asked him to check with the bike manager they said they would do it.I asked on the CX thread about the Forme bikes that Paul Milne sells, any thoughts on here?

What concerns about the voucher system are there? I am just about to order £750 worth so could do with a heads up please?

The 15% off Boardman bikes was advertised in store, my dad was considering an upgrade to his 20yr old Raleigh Max so I asked the guy if they would do the BC discount on top of the 15% and he said it could be used against any in store prices.I asked on the CX thread about the Forme bikes that Paul Milne sells, any thoughts on here?

It seems the biggest issue at Halfords at the moment is getting common sizes in store without using click and collect, they have had a bit of a rush on them lately.
Just got some Shimano SPD Cleat SM-SH52 for £3.00 in Halfords

If anyone's interested in building up a commuter/tourer/cx bike, you can pick up the Planet X London Road frame complete with carbon forks for £149 at the moment, only thing is they're silver only.

I'm tempted to get one and build it up with some spares as a commuter.

The Halfords vouchers work fine - have used them twice in the last 6 weeks or so. I think if you buy over £500 they post for free. Both times they arrived the next working day.
seconded - worked fine for me to buy £700. Also used the 10% px on bikes for Africa - first store turned their nose up at the scrapper (youths size Mongoose) because the fork gaiters were split and this and that. I took it home pumped up the tyres, wipe over with a cloth, taped up the gaiters and no issues at a second store.
Also got the 10% BCF at the till no issues so 30% discount all in - would be 35% this week with the 15% off boardmans..
This just popped up in my twitter feed. Bloody bargin for a Garmin
