clap nicely done - I'm glad no-one was able to put you off buying one in your previous thread. She looks lovely - congratulations.

A very well-written account too, it had me smiling throughout smile

Enjoy!

Fantastic story, great write up. Hope it gives you many miles of pleasure.

I must admit, whilst it does look good and very imposing, and I am well aware of the impact it had when it was released and the furore of its unlimited top speed, etc., I would still have trouble spending that amount of money on what is essentially a 20+ year old Vauxhall exec... I know, I know!

I hope it lives up to your expectations, I still remember Gaz' post years ago about driving an Esprit and being bitterly disappoint - never drive your heroes, etc.!

I remember the LC well and the pictures take me back to the 80's and my experience of Cavaliers and Carltons wink

I'm sure I read a review once the said something along the lines of 1st to 2nd was mad, 2nd to 3rd was insane and 3rd to 4th was simply for showing off.............(or something very similar!)

Look lovely, enjoy the machine and I look forward to the updates yes

Congratulations, what an incredible looking machine. I've never even seen one to be honest, but it looks brutal in the photos.

Most importantly: how does it drive? Please give us a description!

Hope all the hard work that you put in to reunite the car and history file is repaid with many years of happy ownership.
