I am a dyed in the wool ticket buyer.

I don't do Wednesdays - peanuts are not on the agenda. laugh

Euromillions on Tuesday and Friday plus National on Saturday.

5 lines on each = £30 a week.

Thankfully it costs me sweet FA as I average £100 a week in tips from work.

Should I ever win the monster jackpot then it will have been free!!! laugh

Ahh, now your talking. £130m wasn't worth getting excited about but £143m, now they have my interest.

Just purchased 3 tickets which is a bit silly as when I win the jackpot I will have wasted £4.
Just been informed that I have won £3.10. Marvellous.

I think the Euro should be limited to £10m, just up the number of winners when it's not won. After due diligence, me and the wife worked out how to spend £5m on things we'd like and things we'd like to experience and see. After that, the only way of reducing it is give it away to relatives and friends. If you win +£100m, you'll earn so much in interest that you'll never be able to spend it. Unless you buy an island, a Jumbo Jet, or a huge yacht. There is another bonus in a big win. The ability to tell all the aholes you encounter in life to fk off !!
I could easily spend £128m although I probably wouldnt want to.

£28m to family and friends? £20m to charity? Thats down to £80m already.

Company I work for builds houses which regularly top £15-20m. Add a flat in New York and Central London

Now at say £50m already....

Then the cars and holidays or 'living life' as it would then be known.....
Your spending plan is exactly what I said. Give some away, charities as well (what the wife wants to set up). £15m for a house? Wow houses near to me start at £1.5. Good enough for me. Already have a house in the Philippines. The PH garage of course. A boat to go fishing with the gang.

...flying lessons for the plane and heli, a plane and a heli, trip to the International Space Station, sponsorship of an F1 team to get you VIP access to all the races...

A huge amount of money, but there are a lot of very expensive things out there!

£5m increase?! I bet they got more than 10x that in extra ticket sales.
Tight bds biggrin

I know it's an idiot tax but for the sake of a couple of quid to change your life forever, well worth it, even just for the imaginary list I come up with when I'm at work.

I think that's because £150m is the cap (EUR 185m IIRC). Any 'overs' spill down to the next level now for, I think, four draws, then it all goes down a tear.

Indeed. I'd be quite happy for that jackpot to 'ruin my life'
