Sip on this like a cognac rather than a beer? wink
Yeah I wouldn't say it's a session beer! Tastes divine though.

By 'your beer' surely you mean homebrew...

Had a Stone Ruination IPA today. Fantastic beer - still prefer their Arrogant bd Ale though. Haven't had a bad beer from this brewery yet.

I tried some of that Guinness Export stuff last night, it is bloody lovely. £1.25 a bottle in Asda you really can't complain.

Also the new seasonal Innis and Gunn Wheat Beer is worth a look, I am not a fan of wheat beer at all but it is very nice. Not a patch on Rum Cask though wink

Fruits of a recent retail experience smile

Found a new (to me) I&G, American Oak Pale Ale. Slightly reminiscent of Rum Cask thumbup

How's the brewing?

It is! Grand stuff it is.

Yea, to the point now we can knock them out in good time and good results.

Recently bought a corny key, well 2, so we can co2 them. Need a few more runs to get the gas right, but we're looking at no more sediment!

One I enjoy:

A Gose style beer with with Karengo seaweed in it. A little different to the usual, but quite refreshing.

Recently went to Belgium and brought 14 bottles of beer and various glasses back with me (Eurostar, no weight limit, would've been rude not to).

Kwak - definitely don't regret buying the glass, it's brilliant!

Delirium Tremens, also rather nice

Rochefort 8 - had this one tonight and it was absolutely fantastic. I also have a Rochefort 10 which I'm saving for a special occasion. It's one of the best rated beers on all the beer websites. I've had it once before, but it was at the end of a beer festival where I was already fairly tanked up so I don't remember much about it. Looking forward to trying it with a clear head.

I'm more of a lager man, although I do like a few of the IPAs. I can't take a photo as I dropped my phone in the toilet this morning, but the fridge is currently stocked with the following:

If you can get hold of Spendrups, try it! You won't be disappointed.

Kwak is bloody excellent. One of favourite beers but it must be drunk from the correct glass.

I'm off to buy my Christmas beer next week but I am currently enjoying Andechs Export.

This is the local brewery I've been buying pretty much all my beer off recently:

http://garageproject.co.nz/collections/beers

They're like the Willy Wonka of the beer world. They have the occasional miss, but some of their brews work really well. Best thing is that I can drop by there on weekends and get my own bottles filled at a reasonable price.

(for the PH connection, the Brewery is in an old garage that used to be run by an elderly lady who raced classic Jaguars. She was one of the coolest women who's ever lived).
