So I got in the Accord (a generation 7 04 Preface lift 2.2 icdti) last night and the abs, VSA warning lights are on.

Anyone want to tell me if the car is now scrap ?

Some times these fail on S2000s, but I beleive it is a problem acorss the honda range. Check the brake fluid isn't low.

Also these guys do pretty cheap replacement units for most Hondas. I know one S2000 owner has had success with one:

Mind you, it was OFF on Friday MOrning, for 1 mile, then on, for the rest of my 200 mile journey later in the day, but off for the 30 miles (6 starts) I did yesterday.

Join the Honda Owners club forum, then go to this article that I posted. It isn't too hard a job to do.

that's if it does need doing. It actually sounds like a bad connection somewhere if it's going on/off

If the light comes on and off it's not usually the vsa modulator sounds like at could be a wheel speed sensor to be at fault

VSA modules go on Accords all the time, they're over £1500 + VAT and labour.

Unless you buy from somewhere like the link above, where they are about 1/10th of the Honda price wink
