I notice this has now dropped to £25.99 for the PC (physical DVD) on Amazon. I think that's a price I'm happy to pay so I'll give it a go. Something to do over Xmas anyway.
Edit: If it's cheaper elsewhere, even as a digital download, please let me know ASAP as I could still cancel the Amazon order. Ta!
A reasonable amount of playability for the money.Edit: If it's cheaper elsewhere, even as a digital download, please let me know ASAP as I could still cancel the Amazon order. Ta!

Really enjoying it too. Agree with comments about It being like FC3, but I loved that game. SO I'm more than happy that they haven't messed with the formula!
Also, how tight do you have to be to wait for a price drop to buy a game that you're interested in? What are you going to save? Maybe £10-£15? I'm shocked so many people are like that! I'll buy any game on a whim. I bought Murdered: Soul suspect for £45, and honestly played 2 minutes. I couldn't care less as it's only £45!
I take it your not playing it on the PC. We quite often get 50 - 75% savings within a few months of games being released. In fact for some games we get a massive saving before they are released, my wife got the Sims4 for £24.99 where Game wanted £39.99 and Origin wanted £49.99 (yeah right)Also, how tight do you have to be to wait for a price drop to buy a game that you're interested in? As Daston says, we do tend to benefit from savings far more than the console users do.

I'm struggling getting to do all of the towers. The ones in the north- can you get to them before you have unlocked it? Buzzers/ choppers can't seem to fly high enough.
No you have to complete more of the Golden Path campaign, then you will undertake a mission to unlock the North. Then it is game on.Chris Type R said:

Blimey. Three DVDs for the PC version! What's the betting it needs a mahoosive multi-megabyte download to patch it up afterwards?
Yes, there was some debate surrounding this in the earlier pages It's just doing a 3085MB download. Fortunately I have an 85MBPS fibre broadband connection (Virgin's "up to" 120MBPS service) so it'll be done in a matter of minutes. Then I might actually get to play.
WTF? nVidia GeForce Experience wants to "optimise" the graphics settings to low?? I have an MSI GeForce GTX 770 OC overclocked to 1124MHz and with 4GB GDDR5, and an Intel i7-2660K running at 3.4GHz with 32GB RAM. That's not enough???
*sighs* is it upgrade time again?
Edit: Looks like my 770 should fetch about £170-£200 on eBay and a MSI GeForce GTX 980 4GB is £400-odd. I can't really justify a Titan.

I've got a GTX 780X not overclocked and it's automatically set it up to High.
Shouldn't be such a big difference between the 770 and 780 right?
I think there is quite a big difference between the 770 and 780. From what I can deduce they have different architectures and the 780 is essentially a scaled-down TitanShouldn't be such a big difference between the 770 and 780 right?
Anyway, no matter - it was a good excuse to upgrade and my MSI GTX 980 4GB arrives today.
The only annoyance is that the new GPU comes with a free copy of Far Cry 4.

The 780Ti is a cracking card and the 980 only just pips it, according to the reviews I've been reading, so I don't think you need to worry about upgrades right now. By contrast, the jump from my 770 GTX to the 980 GTX should be quite significant. Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
