just out of curiosity who does everyone use for insuring your viper?
i have used aplan, classicline, flux in the past with my other cars. interestingly aplan will not insure me on a viper but will on a fastback worth £20k more? the reason they gave was because i am not 30 yet.

classic line have always been the best at giving me the best deal, including track day cover also, just had a quote from competition car insurance and they were a little higher than i hoped but also give the track day cover. so who else might i try in my quest for cheaper cover?

any ideas would be much appreciated

I've always found CCI to be expensive for me as well - not sure why but I do check every year. I've been very happy over the past few years to remain with Hagerty where I can also get agreed value cover and they are very flexible and helpful on mileage, laid up etc to get the price down.

I will be calling them in the morning to see if they are any better for me, thanks for the advice.

Unfortunately they couldn't help either, under 30 again. Looks like I might have to bite the bullet here.

Hmm, didn't realise the owners had to be classics as well as the cars... Stevenage Insurance always quoted well but the underwriters stopped supporting Sporting Bears which meant I could no longer use them.
