Parts around the brakes

Need help identifying a part around the break disc on my civic type a. It looks like a guard made from thin aluminium, that goes almost the whole way around the wheel?? Anyone know what it's called??

Thanks, I've had to remove one as it was rusting away and loose. Can this cause any problems and can anyone advise how much a replacement would be. Cheers..

Depends on the use of the car, but generally it's best to replace it. As for costs, ask your dealer or one of the dedicated Honda forums.

In my youth I took these off my old JDM Civic Si and I felt the brakes cooled down a bit quicker.
