Yesterday's epic journey...

I know I go on, but 300+ bhp and 0-60 in under 5 seconds when I'm not up and down the motorway.

Edit: looks like my car has dandruff. Definitely needs a clean this weekend.

I dont follow the point you are making. Perfect economy journey (very long motorway slog and average speed of around 50mph) and still only about 10mpg better than a lovely petrol engine would get.

They weren't all motorway miles. Included navigating through London and Birmingham - doubt a 435i would have done 40!

At the end of a 200 mile run. Average 52 usually at 75ish.

First one is the trip average from an 11 mile run across town, stop/start driving between 20 and 40mph which the hybrid setup seems to like. Second image is the average since I last filled up just over 300 miles ago.

Oh, and it's probably not a great idea to post photos of dials that show the car is in motion... smile

Test run of the fuel consumption of my new daily commute. Not too bad for a 200hp petrol hatch. Route takes me through a few urban roads with traffic lights and a dual carriageway.

That was Bedford to High Wycombe in a 2013 335i if I remember correctly.

This is pretty sad, but.. What car is that? The dials look familiar but I'm not sure why.

That was a particularly pussyfooted drive behind several lorries along a fairly flat/downhill B-road at 40mph. Normal is ~50, early 40s if booted. Its pretty quick too, real shame it sounds like a bag of nails, especially under power.

Motorway drive for me in my e92 m3. Average speed zones etc bring the total speed down and whacking it in cruise control helps the MPG when sitting at 50!

Off motorway it is between 19-20 mpg
