Unfortunately I have had to surrender my driving licence for at least a year, but after much thought I've decided to keep the car, bearing in mind it's just passed its MOT, and transfer ownership and insurance duties to my old man who will drive it once a week to keep it moving. This will also give me a chance to do some of the little jobs I've been keen on completing, such as the wing mirror refurbishing and also the rear-quarter window seals, which are appalling!

I really like these. It's a shame good one's are so hard to come by.

Hypothetical question - I'm thinking of selling, but I have no idea of what sort of price I should expect. It is in very good nick, totally standard, 110k, 6 months MOT, rear brake lines recently done, good service history, any suggestions would be appreciated

from the insurance company who have written mine off with a bit of rear end damage. Having spent the last couple of weeks looking around, decent, standard cars are rare.

I'm in a similar position.
Mine's on 102k and has has 9k spent on it in the last 4 years getting it up to near perfect condition.
I'll be asking £3.5 with the view of accepting no less than £3k

Replied but don't think I'm going to be selling anymore.
The OH isn't happy that I want to spend all my savings on a 335i so I'll be keeping my 328 for a whIle........great

That looks so very lovely. For quite some time I have been gurning for an E46 325ti but because they feel pretty expensive over here, ones like yours have been a consideration. An example like yours must be in the minority now so well done for keeping it in such good nick.

Forgot about this thread for a while, I kept hold of it in the end but due to another car purchase this will be up for sale soon, keep your eyes peeled
