Extra banner ads in Classifieds

Looking at the classified section as I often do on my ipad only to find that there seems to be more ads running down the right hand side of the webpage. This makes it really hard to see the ads being displayed properly and a major step backwards. Maybe its better on a pc but I would have thought most people nowadays would be browsing via a tablet or mobile. Think you will put people off using it with this.

Totally agree, was about to post on same subject. The site used to be a good honest blend of forum topics and classifieds. I find the increasing amount of advertising spoils the site and I will use it less.
Of course Haymarket want to make money from their advertising, but if use reduces paid advertising will also be affected.
By the way. Don't like the new header either....not a Luddite, honest....

I've not been on the classifieds for months (discovered the great Autotrader app) but bored this morning I thought I'd have a look and see if they were any better now.

So little space dedicated to the photo of the car and so much to advertising, surely this ratio needs to be sorted?!

Those ads shouldn't be displaying on a tablet. That's a mistake by our ads team.

It will be fixed when we're back in the office Tuesday.

Getting a very annoying Samsung galaxy S5 advert that keeps blocking the screen when viewing classifieds on iPhone. It's so annoying that I've had to stop using classifieds now

Hello there, It's very difficult to read the classifieds on my ipad with the ads down either side - I think this was sorted some time ago but seems to have reverted back again and makes the whole experience much poorer than it was originally. Can someone have a look please?

Been away for 10 days doing more interesting things... so not sure of what is latest state of play on ads on iPads.
