When they get to the bit that shows a calendar they need to look above it to where it says “Click here if you have a promotion code”

The promotion code is

The regular price for the day is £429. Your price is £379.

I’ve reserved some pit garages for you.

Get the half day people to email me direct.

Hi Tux, I've tried booking on-line today but cannot find any link 'to click here if you have a promotion code'? Consequently, it only gives me the option of the full price - am I missing something?! Can you help please?
Cheers, Trev

Hi Tux, cancel my last post - went back on today and the option to select the promotion code was there, so I've now entered! Look forward to meeting you and seeing plenty of Noble's and Ultima's - come on Ultima owners owners, get your entries in.
Many thanks, Trev.

Looks like I may not be able to make this now due to work commitments .... gutted, as I really want to do this track day - even just ordered a towing eye for the Can Am the other day from Ultima! I'll still try to see if I can make it, even last minute (and if there's space), but can't make any promises. I did speak to Goldtrack, who said the best place to stay over is the Premier Inn by the Green Man, which is very close - it's out of town, so pretty safe parking and lots of their track day people stay there. It would be great though if this could be an annual event - so please, please be a success!!

For those that are interested and coming a distance, the local Premier Inn - which I am sure is pretty basic - has rooms for £43.

Hopefully I'm not breaking a rule on advertising - I promise I am not affiliated to them!

Saves me getting up at 5.30am on a Monday at least....a couple of us are booked in, will probably arrive around 7pm.

Great - see you there. I thought it was Ferrari racing at Silverstone on the Sunday.

Sorry Si, Andy, Dom and all.

Could not make it this time... I really wanted to go, but it has been a shfrownt last month after having not-so-wonderful news regarding the missus health, and the last few weeks to cap it all she caught a very nasty infection....and my darling is now in hospital!
Obviously she take priority, so my antics have had to take a back seat for now...

smile Hope ya'll are having a great time...

Sorry everyone, I could not make this track day. Work and other social commitments have got in the way during the latter half of this years driving season. Anyway, any photos? How many Ultima's were there. Can any one share their car set up and driving experience on the F1 track circuit? Ult-Jim.

Sorry you couldn't make it. Just the 2 of us Ultimas there - me and T-Rev (Trev - nice to meet you and see the first ever GTR still in such good working condition).

Great day on the circuit, even if I am still a nervous novice I was starting to get the hang of it and build confidence later in the day (though on my last run I had a 6ft3 passenger with a helmet on so couldn't see my passenger mirror which was not ideal!)

I have the new double adjustables and set them to 7 clicks front, 9 clicks rear (for road I use 4 clicks front, 6 clicks rear). This felt a lot better than my very brieft last outing on track with then set at 10 all round. Much less understeer now.

A couple of race drivers took me around and showed me some of what it could do - very impressive, and they seemed to like the car too....

Here is a photo of mine in the garage shared with a Ferrari 458 Challenge car on slicks.

Well up for another one at some point, funds permitting. Thanks to Simon (nice to meet you too) for organising and sorting the discount.

Mark

Thanks Mark, good to meet you too and what a very nice LS7 GTR you've built, you should be very proud. I can't get over just how tidy the engine bay is, very unlike mine? Thanks also to Simon (TuxMan) for getting us a great deal on the day incl. the garages and for Melindi at Gold Track for running the event.
What a great day (even though I didn't get there until 10:30), the weather was fantastic, very busy on track at times with the usual vast variety of cars (constant checking of the mirrors a must), but I really enjoyed myself. Just to clarify, this is the very first track day in my GTR (in a little over 7 years since I've had it due to noise problems) and my first time out on the newer Silverstone GP. Though I'm not quite a novice any more as I've raced Sports 2000 on the National Circuit and driven the old GP Circuit a very long time ago and a bit more besides, but it was great to finally get the GTR on a track day at long last. First of many I hope and I do still intend to continue competing in a few Sprints.
Before anyone asks, yes I do have video footage, far too much as it turns out (with 3 cameras running)! It's a bit time consuming sorting these out, but here are the first 3 video clips for you all to enjoy... Simon (TuxMan) features on the first one and Mark, you also feature in the third one;
http://youtu.be/cQ9qBYUkPFc 3:27
http://youtu.be/Nbhc4qshe1s 8:18
http://youtu.be/LraGY4Byc2E 8:00 with a bit of clear track (end of the day)!
They should keep you all going for a little while - let us all know what you think of them? I do also have front and rear DogCam bullet camera footage, but I'm struggling to edit these. They are .MOV files and they are huge files (e.g. up to 25mins/2.7GB), so need trimming down to manageable sizes for editing/cutting/posting - does anyone know of any free half decent software that can cope with this? Windows Movie Maker just can't cope and GoPro software takes forever? I was also hoping to take some snap shots and post those too, I'll keep trying!
Cheers, Trevor.

I would look for a dwarf passenger next time.

Damn good job I didn't book with my box issues. Funds are also an issue as one of my businesses producing a 'commodity' has seen a fall of 40% in the price this year!!! Profits may be non-existent. Bugger

I would love to do one again so maybe next year.....hopefully.
