I don't tend to frequent the Watch forum much, but I picked this up today and thought I'd share.

I'm considering putting it on a black leather strap, which looks smart from pictures on t'internet.

Thanks for the kind words. It appeared locally at very good money so I thought if I don't like it I can always move it on.

The problem is I've become rather attached to it hehe

I got one of these last month too and have hardly taken it off. Also on black leather, looks well.

Mines a lovely buffalo Rios1931. If you search out the big Hydroconquest thread there's also a nice one on that.

That looks lovely, not dangerous money either. Did you have any issues squeezing it on?

I bought my HC preloved on the leather with the original bracelet in the box. Mine isn't on the main thread though, but it was that pic that encouraged me to get one.

I bought my Hydro Conquest in Jan of 2011 in Dipples in Norwich, I got it after a very close relative left me some money so its a nice reminder of them. It has been with me now since new on two very large and vigorous construction builds of new power plants, in Asia, in high temperatures and high humidity and has never let me down. The bracelet has the usual scratches but the case and crystal are still in very good condition for the use it has had, it loses about a minute every couple of months and in my eyes that is superb. It gets a toothbrush and soap scrub up once every three or four months or when ever it looks like it needs one and it stays on my arm from Monday to Friday, its a great watch and really pleased I took the plunge with it, I wont ever part with it now.

Itching to sell this to fund other frivolous things but each time I wear it I can't get over the quality for the price I paid.

Me too, although sadly I've put a deposit down on a bike so my HydroConquest Chrono is on eBay at the mo. Don't want to see it go!

Do let me know what it goes for (or post the link here and I can watch it!)
