I watched one of those robots blow up the underside of someone's boot floor, from an office block a few years back.
Turns out the poor did had just broken down outside the local recruiting office.
Why didn't he nip and tell them, doh.......Turns out the poor did had just broken down outside the local recruiting office.
It was interesting to watch the whole thing unfold.
We were in work early and nobody else turned up as the area was cordoned off.
Security come and tell us to head to the other side of he building, and why.
So obviously, we all headed to the best view and lined up the chairs and coffee.
Brilliant at the time, but dumb when I think how it could have blown the windows in.

I was in Berlin last weekend and the standard of European parking still persisted, even in Germany! They just do not care :P
There seems to be a specific theme of bad parking, of just driving up the kerb at an angle and leaving it at that. Anybody else noticed this style of parking on the continent?
Unfortunately no pics, but had my summer holiday in Nice this year and I've never seen anyone park like the French! The underground car parks are only for those who don't want their car to be scraped as parking on the street means it is almost inevitable given the lack of space you are given by others. There seemed to be no enforcement whatsoever, meaning that you'd find cars parked on zebra crossings, on the pavement, in front of entrances, even in central reservations! I even saw one guy drive straight over some plastic bollards in such a way that the back of his car was lifted into the air as they sprung back up and if all else failed, they just double park, leave their hazards on and go shopping. There seems to be a specific theme of bad parking, of just driving up the kerb at an angle and leaving it at that. Anybody else noticed this style of parking on the continent?

Yep, was in Sardinia over the summer and I saw some shocking parking, just like the ones above, I posted some photos a few pages back. Whenever I pop into this Tesco in Llansamlet it is always the same...

Don't see that as bad parking at all, completely sensible IMO and something I always try and do. Good, protective parking that.SistersofPercy said:

Yeah you're probably right to be honest. Most of the time they are much more on the hatched area and it makes it difficult to see passed them on the junctions.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
