seriously this pisses me off - illegally parked/blocking public services? "Mr Hammer, meet Miss Window" and problem resolved, fkwit who parked illegally/without any consideration is left with a repair bill as well as a FPN - win/win
From the BBC News website "She was heard telling a Community Protection Officer: "I'm not from Nottingham."

What, do double yellow lines mean something different where you come from?

After watching that Mini Cooper parked on tramtracks video, I think that's the only time I've ever thought it would be acceptable to key a car. Actually smashing the window to get the handbrake off would suffice, keying it is probably a bit overkill now I've had time to calm down and reflect after watching that video... step awaaaaay from the keyboard.

The tram mini woman driver received a fixed penalty notice. Apparently her defence was that she wasn't from
Nottingham. Not sure how that excuses her parking on the pavement on top of a double yellow...

She was in a nearby coffee shop.

There seems to be a bit of the yellow paint missing, I expect she'll appeal.

Someone decided to park on a pedestrian crossing in Skipton, it's big news on the local Facebook pages I stole it from.

That takes the biscuit, a clear winner. It appears there are idiots, and idiots, and even more idiots in Skipton.

I suspect Blue Badge holder. The double yellows curving round lead to a lay-by, believe it or not. 5 yards further along and they could have parked assuming a space in the lay-by

looks like she is not the only one in cuckoo land -

"It did cause quite a lot of disruption because the people on the tram weren't allowed to get off, because they weren't at the stop."

WHY????? stupid government OHS regulations and no one with any balls to use common bloody sense and let people off. More moronic than the mini owner...

Being a blue badge holder does not entitle people to be inconsiderate, selfish f%^&wits to the rest of society.

Nuts. Somehow I think I would have managed to get off. A stuck train, I can understand that, but a tram!, elf n'safety will be telling us how to wipe our arse next.

There will have been an emergency release.

Chances are the passengers were too fecking lazy to get up to find out and just preferred to have a moan after he fact, rather than just get off their arses and actually do something.

It's the modern way - apparently.
